Do I need a Doctor’s referral?

No, you don’t need a Doctor’s referral to make an appointment, however some insurance companies may ask you to be referred. We have established a good working relationship with local GP’s over the last 20 years.

How long are the appointments?

All appointments are based on 30 minutes, although depending on your condition it may not be appropriate to treat you for this length of time.

What are your opening times?

Monday – Friday We are open all day and into the evening and will always try and be flexible.

Saturday Mornings

Is there a waiting list?

No sometimes same day appointments are also available.

How can I pay?

Cash or Credit Card

Do you accept health insurances?

Yes we accept most including Westfield Health, AVIVA, AXA, Bupa, Simply Health, WPA, Vitality, Healix, Cigna and many more.

Are the Physiotherapists qualified?

Yes, all our Physiotherapists are Chartered and members of the Health Professions Council.

On your first visit we will ask you questions about your problem. This will help guide our detailed examination of you. From the information you tell us and our examination, we will tell you what your problem is and what can be done.


In order to examine you properly we need to see where the problem is, so you may want to wear appropriate clothing.


If you are on any medication it may be worth bringing the name of them with you.

I’ve had some treatment in the past and it didn’t work is it worth visiting the Rotherham Physiotherapy Centre?

Our approach provides you with an explanation of what is causing your problem. Our detailed examination enables us to provide you with the right care for you. Many of our clients have had previous treatment which has been unsuccessful, that does not mean we can’t help.
